Join the Red Card Pledge - a joint initiative of UNESCO, FIFA and the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN). This global "Equal Light Red Card" campaign calls on all parties to show the red card to ALL forms of discrimination and violence against women and girls.

The mission of the RED CARD is to use the unifying power of sport to provide an opportunity for all stakeholders to demonstrate to the world their commitments and efforts to achieve equality and equity for all!

Sheetal Shah and Amanda Mauro, two members of our management team, were among prominent speakers who spoke on "Effects of COVID-19 on human trafficking and education: participation is contributions."

This online SGA Webinar 2021 event was hosted by the Webster University Leiden Campus Student Government Association. Inviting speakers to address the limited resources available to victims of trafficking in this new COVID-19 era.

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing contribution, commitment and dedication of the volunteer doctors from @doktersvandworld, who have conducted health checkups for TheBridge2Hope Academy participants.

These health checks support the nutrition program each Academy participant follows.

A great way to have fun during the coronavirus lockdown!

This fun idea for an online quiz event was organized by "The Other Quiz" in cooperation with the Soroptimist Club Bussum.

More than 80 teams logged on online for an evening of entertainment filled with hilarious videos, creative questions and a good dose of humor!

Thank you to everyone at Soroptimist Club Bussum e.o. who made this all possible - all in the safety of our own home!

We would like to thank our three hairy heroes; Ronnie, Mac and Guy for their great growing efforts as part of the #beards4hope fundraiser, and a special thanks to Mac McDonnell who instigated this #fundraiser.

They raised more than €1000,- collectively. Thank you to everyone who supported them along the way.

Every year on February 14, people all over the world come together in solidarity to raise awareness and show support for One Billion Rising.

One Billion Rising is the biggest, mass action with the aim of ending violence against women (cisgender, transgender, and those who hold fluid identities that are subject to gender-based violence), in human history.

The campaign, which launched on Valentine's Day 2012, began as a call to action based on the staggering statistic that 1 in 3 women on the planet, will beaten or raped during her lifetime. With the world population at 7 billion+, this adds up to more than ONE BILLION WOMEN AND GIRLS.

Members of TheBridge2Hope team met with the head of Center Against Child and Human Trafficking, Frank Noteboom, to discuss collaboration in the field, especially to address the needs of victims of human trafficking from West Africa!

In addition to this exciting collaboration, Noortje Luning (part of CKM) has also been in the field with the ladies since the beginning of the year! Not only is she helping with the coordination of the lessons but she is also the computer teacher!

We are beyond excited for what this collaboration will bring! Expanding our community and strengthening our network is the first major step in fighting #humantrafficking 💙💙

Prometheus Legal Consultancy (PLC) is a charitable foundation that provides free legal advice to both individuals and organizations and is completely run by volunteers out of a feeling of social engagement.

PLC has been working closely with TheBridge2Hope since 2021 and legally supports the organization in order for those involved to rebuild their lives. Though it may not be as visible as the direct and weekly support that the victims receive, we are continuously running on the background to see what can legally be done and for whom.
